Not Another Snowstorm! - 2nd Grade

Since we have had a lot of snow in Illinois lately, second grade artists decided to create some self-portraits of themselves in a snowstorm! Students began drawing with pencil and used sharpie marker to go over all of their pencil lines. The artists colored in themselves with crayons and used watercolor to paint the sky. The final touches were to use toothbrushes to flick white paint around to look like the snow! (Yes this is why I have white speckles on all of my dress pants). These snowstorms turned out amazing!
